Monday

If it on 120 volts, unplug it. If it is battery powered, pull the batteries.

The reason I recommend 30 minutes is because some devices have capacitors that will supply power for a certain amount of time if the main power source is lost.

If that doesn't work, it's beyond my capabilities.
