The guy bought a 59 Chrysler 300 413 V8 from a boneyard.

Did most of the repairs to what seemed hopeless on the dirt parking lot.

The memories washed over me. My first car was a 62 Fury. Back in the days when you could work on your own car, usually with your buddies helping and hanging out in between beer and pizza, laughing and busting balls the whole time.

The thrill and camraderie when the damn thing actually worked

Then he attempts a drive covering much of old Route 66, 1000 miles, during the 100th anniversary of the Mother Road in 2026.

It does not have a happy ending, he covered a lot of distance, but the ending literally put him in danger and put a lump iny throat. I have personally experienced many of the struggles on the road he runs into, and it made me feel like I was along for the ride.

It is long, over an hour.

For me, not long enough, in more ways than one
