What a fabulous present!
I turned 75 last month. Gave myself a trip last October to Scotland for two weeks, where I'd never been. It was wonderful.
At the end of May I'm splurging on an entire week at the Spoleto Festival in Charleston, SC. My late husband and I used to go to it for the better part of a week, staying in a carriage house on one of the estates in the historic district. I'm treating myself to a fancy hotel.
I figured making it to 75 was worth two trips. It is getting more difficult physically for me to travel and my energy for it is not the same it once was
So, go and have a wonderful trip to Ireland!
