(18,877 posts)5. I took the drawer pulls off a busted up dresser
sitting on the side of the road. They were the nice brass plate ones. My mom just looked at me and said "You are your father's daughter." He snagged a great metal fan with a busted plug. Brought it home, put a new plug on it and it ran for years on his work bench in the garage.
