I have a cat named Arwen and when my mom died of cancer I adopted her cat, Tyzmat. Arwen never liked Tyzmat, she would hiss and bat at her. Arwen was only a few years old and Tyzmat was an elderly cat at the time so Tyzmat eventually died of natural causes. When Arwen figured out Tyzmat wasn't coming back she got so happy. She was purring and rubbing on me for hours. I know I can never get another cat while Arwen is around.
