Sharing my quilting project [View all]

I saw a quilt done by Jane Brocket on Pintrest, so lovely, I decided to make one. It is made with vintage embroidery cut from tablecloths, dresser scarfs and chair covers. So pretty and so easy. I am almost finished with my first one. I sewed it up making 6 inch blocks. I took it to the quilt shop and had it basted to the batting and backing and I am now hand quilting it. I am going to give it to my granddaughter for a wedding gift. Added benefit; lots of fun going to estate sales, flea markets and antique malls looking for the old linens.
