4. I saw Ten Years After in 1975 at the old Chicago Stadium

Alvin Lee was a fantastic guitar player. They put on a great show. After two encores the lights came on, but we wouldn't leave or stop cheering. The lights were turned off, and they came back for a third encore.

I'd Love to Change the World is among the greatest classic rock songs of that era. It used to get a lot of airplay, but I have not heard it on the radio in a very long time -- possibly because of the lyric "dykes and fairies."
