I was a huge Mott The Hoople fan. I had 2 of their albums even before All The Young Dudes came out.
One of the very few bands of which I owned all their albums.
Saw them twice.
Was supposed to see Hunter/Ronson (Aragon Ballroom, Chicago), but the date got canceled a couple days before the show.
Bummer!
BTW: this original version is quite superior to the Great White cover. But, the covers chart position made Ian quite a but of money!
