I discovered a Early edwards elp. What intrigues me is on head stock it says Leopard ZEP 2 I have heard that these early prototypes from the 80’s were hand built by ESP navigator craftsman as navigators are.

Do I need it not at all yet am thinking on it why because I’m obsessed with the craftsmanship of Japan strats and Les Paul’s since the mid 1980’ssome not all such as tokai -Burny Greco -Orville -Navigator -Aria leopards and even some epiphone japans yet they must have mustache headstock.

Anyone on here have knowledge of these early prototypes hit me up with your knowledge. I’m interested and thinking it was created by ESP Navigator as it has the old truss rod cover not much info online thank you in advance.
