Acropolis of Lindos, Rhodes, Greece [View all]

Finally digging into the pictures from early spring when I went to Rhodes. The Acropolis at Lindos has been in use from near 10,000BC. Occupied by Greeks, romans, Byzantines, Knights of St. John and the Ottomans. It guards tow small harbours and was a stop for trade until usurped by the city of Rhodes around 500 AD.
