But not at it's prime. In the Mediterranean the 'prime season is summer. May -Sept. Highest prices and crowds are June July August when families can travel. Shoulder would be Mid-March to early May. LAte Sept through Oct. Prices are cheaper and fewer crowds. There are more weather risks. There is almost no rain in the Med. during the summer. Having lived on Crete for 2 years winter is much more iffy. That is the rainy season and it can be as low as 32, rarely any freezes. Many places are closed, even hotels.
