This is a nice opportunity, to be the next show host on after Lawrence O'Donnell.

What's great about this is that Velshi has often been the fill-in host on nights that Lawrence has been off. So the late weeknight viewers already know him, and presumably will continue watching as he takes over this 11 p.m. timeslot.

Good job Ali Velshi!
