6. As if what Texas is doing--a power grab--has no bearing on our response

if we have it your way and Texas does redistrict and give themselves 5 extra house seats, then 2 extra years of the Republicans harming us all if we don't respond in kind. Our chance to regain the House will be gone, because for you the immense harm they will do if we don't redistrict doesn't justify redistricting. I hope for your sake that you won't be one of the ones that are harmed if such a scenario comes into being.
