Jefferson proponents reject anything progressive and most government.

There was a maybe sane Jefferson State proposal before WWII.

Current Jefferson proposals are for a larger state.

There are vast tracts of federal lands and low population.

Most local industry has been extractive: timber, mining, grazing, and some agriculture. The coastal rivers like the Klamath and Rogue were great fisheries.

I worry more about the federal lands being sold to private corporate interests than the evil numbskulls that are contemporary Jefferson proponents.

BTW I am native to and live at this time on the Klamath River, has always been home but have lived elsewhere for work and education.
