1. i had a fire a couple mos ago.

i wasnt surprised by the water damage, but i was surprised by the damage done by firefighters looking in the walls/ceilings for hidden fire. almost as bad as the fire itself.
i understand, but at the same time, hello? we have infrared cameras now.
they also smashed a 4’ x 8’ window that they cd have just opened. had 4’ x 4’ ventilation. $1k to replace, just to vent a little more smoke.

that said, this looks like an incredibly persistent fire.
