So many times since the golden escalator... it leaves me missing my dad more and more each time. I'm going to protest tomorrow because he fought nazis in WWII, and he was so proud when I enlisted at 18. I want him to know the family tradition carries on. And as I experience the loss of the world he fought to save, I am so proud of what he did and stood for.
