https://www.cnn.com/us/live-news/miami-florida-building-collapse-06-28-21-intl/index.html If you scroll down to the story about the 15 million dollars in renovations it explains how much the special assessments would have been and some of it seems to be cosmetic. They were already paying over $900 per month condo fees and they had been selling at 600,000 on up. I guess you don't always get what you pay for. I still find this fall heartbreaking.
