It looks like we will be seeing this trend from all of the major health insurance companies as a cost containment measure. Now you get the choice of going to an urgent care center where the bill might be lower or to an actual ER where the insurer may not pay. I guess if someone has a medical degree and make a diagnosis then it could some money. For the rest of us laypeople that don't have specialized medical knowledge we are screwed again.
