7. My wife and I were discussing

another similar incident the other night. I have a feeling most gun owners aren't responsible. That is, they don't keep their guns locked up when not in use.

I despise guns, but my dad had guns, and he just kept them hanging on the wall and under his bed. My wife's dad kept a loaded shotgun leaning against a wall in his closet. A friend's dad, a true nut ball, literally has a gun within 4 ft from wherever you are in his house. Another friend just out of high school was playing with a gun in his parent's bedroom when it went off. Luckily, no one was injured. But he put a hole through the wall.

I know these are just anecdotal, and I grew up and live in the south, but good gravy! I honestly don't know anyone who keeps their guns locked up.
