“Mike Braun’s IU power grab continues today with these moves to replace elected IU Trustees before their terms end and replace them with political allies who will do his bidding, including anti-abortion extremist Jim Bopp, Jr. This is despite Braun’s pledge shortly after the legislative session that he would allow the duly-elected IU Trustees to serve out their term. Those removed include board members who have been critical of the university’s leadership.
