The Irish had six players get arrested late Friday night and early Saturday morning, a revelation similar to 2014’s probe into five Irish players suspected of academic fraud, a probe that was announced Aug. 15, 2014.
This time, the bad news began with starting safety Max Redfield and four reserves being arrested and charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana in Fulton County.
Redfield, Kevin Stepherson and Dexter Williams were also charged with carrying an unlicensed handgun. The two other players arrested in the Fulton County incident were Te’von Coney and Ashton White.
