Armed, masked man robs Prairie Village residents

PRAIRIE VILLAGE, KS (KCTV) - A man wearing a ski mask and pointing a handgun robbed two Prairie Village residents of their purses as they pulled into their driveway Friday night.

At approximately 8:39 p.m. Friday, the Prairie Village Police Department received a report that an armed robbery had just occurred in the 2900 block of West 71st Terrace.

When officers arrived they made contact with the two victims. The victims told officers that when they pulled into the driveway of their home they were approached by a masked man wearing all dark clothes and pointing a gun in their direction.

The victims handed over their purses when the suspect demanded that they give him their money.

The suspect ran from the scene on foot, attempts to locate him were unsuccessful.
