but am initially put off by the fact he's a preacher... and a preacher of a mega church in Johnson County. Nothing against most of the people of JoCo, I lived there, myself, for over 10 years... but there are enough VERY well-to-do people in that county that I wonder if they truly understand and appreciate the rest of us. Also, I HATE having religion and govt mixed. Religion gets corrupted and govt gets elevated to godhood.
Again, I'm going to have to research this guy before making any firm decisions... this is just my initial feeling based only on living in a rich county, leading a megachurch, and fear of his bringing in even more religious law into our lives. Does he respect the fact there are others in the state who are NOT Christian? Does he support OUR rights to worship and live as we desire? Or are we part of great Satan conspiracy against the state?
Even now, there's somebody around the corner ready to lecture you... or worse... if you walk around with a smile on your face. We are still one of the few states not to have even medical MJ.
But one thing I DO agree on... Roger Marshall has GOT to go!
