1. A lot of tipped workers

Prefer that their pay doesn’t change to the extent hourly workers do. They make much more in tips, and usually don’t claim cash tips on taxes. I was born and raised in Michigan, and a lot of my friends work and worked in tipped positions.

I’m glad basic hourly wages are going up for those who don’t receive tips, but, man, $15 seems quaint now with the cost of rent alone.
