Sheesh.

I was asked to pledge a frat back in 1970 at Rutgers U. and would have been the first female member if I had. But I felt that frats were elitist and full of assholes, so I declined and never regretted it. They asked another woman, she accepted, and the NY Times interviewed her.

That was 50 years ago. 50 years. There have been women in fraternities for five decades at the very least.

Are we traveling backward in time?
