since they inundated the area with that CoRexit stuff. They poured so many different poison chemicals into the Gulf after the Deep Water Horizon went up, I wouldn't trust eating anything out of there anymore. And I feel for all the porpoises and other sea creatures that have and are dying because of the remains of the stuff, as well as the dead areas in the Gulf.
I so wanted to retire in Galveston... up until I felt they ruined the Gulf and surrounding waters. 
Had many, many good times running up and down the coast area, especially around Port A and Corpus. Was like one long drag strip for me (LOL).
