but for food restrictions? I can't disagree with banning known bad additives, junk food, sodas, etc no differently than banning alcohol, tobacco, luxury items, gambling, etc.

It's hardly "Food Fascism" as the author says with the references to Nazis, and forcing better food choices has nothing to do with industrial chemicals as the author irrationally tried to link. This is also just stupid - dignity over healthy food:

SNAP recipients should be free to make their own food choices. Restricting purchases undermines the dignity of those who rely on public assistance.
