This was as big a display of stupid in as voting for secession in the Civil War. Most of the counties that voted for Trump were rural counties heavily dependent on agriculture. Their avatar’s behavior is going to cost them bigly.

I suspect that some of them had great-grandmothers and great-grandfathers who warned them not to believe fast-talking New Yorkers trying to sell them a line of (excrement). They should have remembered before they cast their ballots. Clearly they didn’t.

I suspect that there’s going to be a lot of hurting in red counties for the next several years. My sympathy is limited: I didn’t ask to be placed in this hand-basket. They should have known better
