... while I was in the Navy and stationed in the New London, active duty sailors "mined" a harbor in New Hampshire (?) with beach balls right after Nixon had Haiphong (Viet Nam) mined with the real thing around Christmas 72 0r '73.

The mines in Haiphong managed to only sink a French merchant vessel loaded with humanitarian relief supplies.
