Wednesday

I've talked with many people ages 40-80 in Texas and have brought up the fact that FDR's son Elliott lived near Fort Worth and FDR and Eleanor used to visit.

They all get so angry and call FDR a socialist communist. They despise FDR and the New Deal.
I say, "He lead our country against the nazis and fascism."
Their response is always "we fought on the wrong side."
