ty for asking! The floods were all around the area but fortunately my cul-de-sac had a flood prevention thing put in years ago - they removed a couple houses and created a vacant field on two sides of my property(yay for me!) and then put in some kind of porus cement on the road that not only lets water pass through but also filters it pretty innovative!
