is the critical point. All sorts of noxious stuff ought to be read just to understand what assholes and morons are talking with each other about, so you can be prepared to deal properly with them and their nonsense.

On top of the obvious issue of his noxious views about the content of that book, having a picture of his copy of that book on his phone, that is very weird and disturbing.
