The MP is beyond the reach of caucus penalties because he is an independent now.

Poilievre is (and I think this is your point phrased another way) being petulant, vindictive, and trying to set a strong arm mafia example: "Cross me and I will hurt you five times as much", which is what tRump has said (paraphrased) and done. {on edit: I see now that the tweeter (retweeter) made that exact point too.}

Pierre "Freedumb" Poliovirus is not a true friend of freedom if he tries to bully CONservatives: "Do as I say or I'll take it out of your hide." Hmm, dictators behave like that and they are friends of freedom.

"You are free {Poilievre snickers} and will be even freer, but you MUST bow to me."


Good calling him out on what he does, even more so than on what he says.
