5. I think I have the game figured out.

The main version is always big because of new programs and the fact that it generally has to up some of the existing files on the phone and the Macs. Even before the main version is out, we are testing the revision. So they know there are bug, just not enough time to fix them and the main thing is to get it out so they get files changed to a new format etc. Then comes the 9.1 and the 10.11.1 that come out the same day along with the new iTunes.

Kind of like building a house, you know it won't be like you want it, but it takes less work and time to get in it and then the minor fixing of stuff.
