18. Thanks for putting together a comprehensive look at the issue.

Some uninformed observations:

1) There are a lot more pernicious invasions of privacy going on, including the actual tracking of almost all financial transactions and the creepy surveillance the private sector conducts every time you click on an advertisement on the internet.

2) I would still like to see more transparency, for the simple reason I believe that its efficacy has probably diminished as Al Queda modifies tactics, ala the 'shoe bomber'.

3) As you pointed out having a high percentage of warrants passed is not necessarily a sign of a rubber stamp court. In fact Federal Prosecutors convict at about 99% because they tend to only take action when there is obvious evidence to do so.

4) Unfortunately your work will have little impact, IMO, because most people on the internets are worried to death about the government 'listening into my phone calls'.
