Thrift stores are a great place to pick up old, quality audio equipment. I scored a 12 band Realistic equalizer that's now the switching center for all my audio. It's connected to my turntable, tv, ipod, etc. It can sent the music to the surround sound in the house, or wireless speakers outside, using multiple inputs.
