I wish I had wonderful advice, but right now all I can say is that that seems truly unjust. I believe there will be a better opportunity waiting for you - but ugh! I'll come back when I think of something better to say, but I just wanted to let you know - I read every word of your post and that's just not right. I'm so sorry you're going through this.
