According to his Facebook page, Rodger is the son of “Hunger Games” assistant director Peter Rodger, grew up in wealthy Calabasas, California, and lived a more privileged life than many college students, driving luxury cars and flying first class.

Translation: he was rich, white and could not understand why he was not deferred to. He felt women should gravitate towards him, not realzing that many women have enough slef respect to not want to deal with another rich jerk.
