You need oral terbinafine. It’s a 12-week course of daily medication. You start with a baseline liver function test. If that’s normal, you start on 6 weeks of treatment. At the halfway point, you get a follow up liver function test, and if it’s still normal, you get the second 6 weeks of treatment.

It kills the organism that causes the infection. Then you wait for clear healthy nails to grow in.
