It was my guess that the poster didn't realize which group this was, I've been on DU since before the invasion of Iraq and I still see groups here that I never knew existed. And, like I said, I'm in AA so it's not up to me to judge what's okay for anyone else. And I'm not the host, either. We are hearing more about drugs these days in AA. It was not long ago that it was considered unacceptable for discussion in an AA meeting. I walked into my first AA meeting 9 years ago this month. But I'm GSR for a beginner's group and it's more common than not to hear from those who are cross addicted. I've learned to "take what I want and leave the rest."
