4. Ok as I rewatched the video, I saw reflections of my life and what others in the rooms have told me

In the video. --A young white hetero couple.
The bedroom setting looks like a down at the heels setting, so a day at the counrty fair is a treat. I remember saving up for days like that.

--"believed what you said" She is angry at him for his lies

--addicts lie ALOT

--on the tilt a whirl scene, he looks sick, motion sick or withdrawal sick?

--well he is shooting up, early in the day, as she sleeps next to him, withdrawal then, he has been using for awhile, cause he has his works.

--the shame in his face as he turns towards her, he cares about her, but the drugs are more important-that shame that addicts feel is real, and it circles in our lives and we use to quiet it

--they are at a carnival 'shooting' game, he slips off, looking for his pusher? A place to shoot up? Pattern looks like he has been using a while, reinforcing his shame from earlier

--she goes looking for him, bet it has happened before

--she finds him slumped over in an OD, maybe dead?

--in the centrifuge carnival ride their hands reach towards each other, but he slips away from her hand

--she calls for help and walks away crying.

I have heard versions of this story in the rooms, yet this is a visual NA/AA story.

Someone who has lived thru their addiction or a loved ones addiction knows this story.

More clear?

Added I do use addict/alcoholic/occasionally junkie interchangeably.
