Pouring wine down the sink

The dude i live w is imo an alcoholic . He now on patch pain and got kicked off pills when somehow the clinic finally realized he was abusing them. Little did they know he was grinding snorting and overusing them. I wanted to tell them how bad he was but couldn't.

So today he wanted wine. I had wm substitute, not realizing it was a jumbo jug. Its been in the house 5 hrs him glugging it and almost empty. I just poured some down the drain. He isnt falling on the floor or knocking shit over. My mom was a drunk and this is very triggering for me. Hes 72 and i wonder how long he'll. Live
