4. Clarification of Bad Bedside Manner
Thu May 26, 2022, 05:25 PM
May 2022

I was first diagnosed with lymphoma since the early 1990s.

First treatment, I received a remission of 13 years.
Second treatment, I received a remission of 15 years.

This last time around since the last 2 years, have not achieved 100% success.
I tried about 3 separate treatments, not counting radiation.
During one of the sessions to decide treatment, he gave me option A and option B.
I went with option A because of the logistics to do option B.
Option A did not achieve 100%.
His response was 'I told you to do option B'
At the time, I diffused the situation by saying 'Placing blames solves nothing right now'

Later, he gave me a different option A and option B.
At the time, my walking had destabilized that I had to use a walker.
I asked him to begin the authorization process of both options.
It appears that they only got authorization process for one.
I called my insurer and they told me they never received any authorization request for option B.
In a way, I was felt, being pushed into doing option A, which was still a failure.
I was still unable to walk with option A.
Months later, they finally got authorization for option B.
Now, i can walk again but am still not 100%.
