It took me by surprise when he told me I needed the fusion so I'm glad there is one more visit. I'm not having the surgery until I'm sure this has to be done and why this is the procedure to do.
He never mentioned a replacement, I'd like to know his thinking on that. From what I read the fusion lasts forever and the ankle replacement needs replacement every 5-10 yrs, but you can move it.
