Gotta kick it into high gear due to surgery. [View all]

Saw the colorectal surgeon today who is scrubbing in on my endo cancer surgery. He said that if I could lose 5-10 lbs before surgery, it would lessen the visceral fat in the case I would need either a temporary or permanent ileostomy.

Surgery is Sept 9. That’s 27 days.

I’m already doing low carb bordering on keto. I think I just have to go more keto and move more. Easy to say. Hope I can make it work. All of a sudden I feel like I don’t know enough to make this work and I have to cram for an exam.

Kind of scared. At least they did say that my surgery wouldn’t be postponed, even if they have to shut down due to COVID.
