3. Funny thing about this is...

We haven’t had an acorn squash for a couple of years when the compost pile is open. Usually get a couple late fall keep them till winter hits and have our Acorn Squash soup. Never grew any at this location.
I’m in Northern Michigan in the Mitten by the time it’s time for that soup the ground is frozen, pile is closed for the season. That is why the question of identification.
