1. Same here. My yard looks horrible because of all the dead brush and flower stalks,

but it's important to leave that stuff until later in the spring because it's where a lot of native bees and other creatures spend the winter and you don't want to disturb them too early. I've got tulips coming up already, which is sort of freaking me out.
