I love my compost pile. I have a 3 row system that has worked well for years… new stuff goes in the back of pile in its own trench. That one gets pulled forward the next year and marinates in the middle…next year that gets pulled forward and screened to use. Debris gets recycled to the back along with the new stuff.
Compost comprised of all grass clippings from mowing, garden trimmings, veggie scraps from kitchen. Absolutely no animal droppings or meat. We make our own garden soil for our grow bags that gets recycled also. It’s where the perlite comes from. It does help in the compost pile too.
