2. Yes, she was. Like all her babies, Laurie handled her right from the start.

Well, our pastures used to look like that; but as time went on Laurie took to mowing them regularly. When I asked why, she said mowing helps control weeds, ensures new and tender growth and the horses like the new grass better.
