22. Please accept my condolences for your family member's passing.

Wow, eighteen years is a long time. But it's NEVER long enough. I'm so sorry for your loss.

As a rescuer myself, I am very familiar with loss. But at each loss, I remind myself to be grateful for the ones who were so well loved and cared for that they make it to old age. So, thank you from the bottom of MY heart for giving Bella care and kindness enough to get her to that age.

Each time that we bring one into our lives, we know there will be an ending as their life spans are not as long as ours. We do it time after time after time because we KNOW that the hours and days and years in between hello and goodbye make it all worth it. Thank you for taking such good care of her.

Grieve as you need because they are family.

Wishing you peace and comfort.
